Bentley of the Connecticut Sun were named the WNBA's Western and Eastern
Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played from June 9-15.
Diggins paced the Western Conference in scoring (23 ppg) and minutes (35.9 mpg) while leading Tulsa to a 3-0 mark last week. On the season, Diggins ranks fourth in the WNBA in both scoring (19.2 ppg) and assists (5.7 apg).
Bentley guided the Sun to a 3-0 record as well after averaging 19.3 points for the week. The former Penn State star ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference in scoring (11.2 ppg), fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (.458) and seventh in assists (3.3 apg).
