WNBA, players' union reach labor agreement

(SportsNetwork.com) - The WNBA and its players' union have agreed to a new
collective bargaining agreement.

Terms of the deal, which has not yet been finalized, were not revealed.

"The WNBA and WNBPA are pleased to announce an agreement in principle on a new collective bargaining agreement," said WNBA president Laurel J. Richie in a statement. "Over the next week to 10 days, we will be working together to complete the written agreement."
