Canberra, Australia (Sports Network) - Seattle Storm center Lauren Jackson underwent surgery earlier this week to address a hamstring injury that has been nagging her since training prior to the Olympics.
Jackson, a three-time WNBA MVP, is expected to make a full recovery. She will have three weeks of rest before starting a light rehabilitation program, according to Basketball Australia.
"I'm very happy that I've now had this operation, and I'm delighted with the medical opinion that I should be able to make a full recovery," Jackson said in a statement.
