2013 Battle in the Boro

Rooks had to hold down the middle for the Demons that were a bit short-handed compared to the team that finished tied for third at the Boo Williams Tournament in April. Rooks can face-up at mid-range but most of her points come mid-key and in.  She needs to improve her ball handling but is receiving high major offers regardless.  Given their personnel (or comparatively lack of), a few players on the Demons (of which Rooks and Flaherty were two) had to do more than would be expected to achieve the success of getting to the quarterfinals of the Gold Championship.  Thus the team got a second player on the all-tournament team. - Bob Corwin

2013 Boo Williams Invitational

Rooks was nothing short of terrific in Hampton leading the Demons in scoring on several occasions.  Having the reputation of an athletic but undersized power forward, she repeatedly stepped out to hit baseline threes.  The stock of this member of the Full Court Fresh 50 is currently moving higher as her ability to play the small forward position at the high major level seems to have increased in the eyes of college recruiters. - Bob Corwin

2012 Fall Ball Classic

This good sized wing is one of the most versatile 2014 players in New York. She has the footwork to score in the paint and can step outside and knock down the three. If this event was any indication of what we can expect this season, watch out. Some of the schools that are hoping for Taylor's services are Stanford, Syracuse, Maryland and Harvard.  - Derek McKeiver

2012 Nike Nationals

With medium-solid frame, Rooks is an athletic attacker who can pull up on the way to the basket. An excellent student, she is being recruited by high academic schools (BCS and otherwise). - Bob Corwin
