2012 Battle in the Boro
Harper is probably the best rebounding guard for her size the 2013 class and she also has a strong pull-up jumper and can go to the basket with authority. She appears to prefer playing off the ball but is a good passer with high basketball IQ. Improving her range beyond the arc is probably the greatest need for this talented member of the USA Basketball program. - Bob Corwin
2012 U17 USA Basketball Trials
Harper is a creative ball handler, a flashy passer and has a thick athletic build that can take contact when attacking the paint. She consistently knocks down the midrange jumper and is improving behind the arc. She is a good on-ball defender and knows how to penetrate and score. She has a gritty Chicago work ethic that gives her the mental toughness to make the big play during big games. To be more effective at the college level, she will need to be a knock-down three-point shooter since she is a little undersized. - Kelly Kline
