Sky edge Liberty

Rosemont, IL (Sports Network) - Sylvia Fowles totaled 17 points and a game-
high 14 rebounds to help the Chicago Sky post a 74-73 win over the New York
Liberty.

Erin Thorn also poured in 17 points for Chicago, which shot 49 percent from the field. The Sky have won four of their last five games.

Plenette Pierson scored 19 points to pace the Liberty, who got 15 points from Nicole Powell. Cappie Pondexter had 14 points and a game-best eight assists in defeat.
