The Georgia Metros won the elite Battle in the Boros exposure tournament Monday, with a 59-51 win over the Tennessee Flight Silver. The Metros' Allisha Gray was named Tournament MVP.

Gray leads Metros to Battle of the Boro title

The college viewing calendar is chock full of big events, but there’s no question that Tennessee’s Battle in the Boro is one of the biggest – and led by tournament MVP Allisha Gray, the Georgia Metros 16 Nike outlasted the Tennessee Flight Silver, 59-51, to take the title in the elite Gold Division Monday. Of course, the Flight might have been running out of air space, as they had to go four overtimes in the quarterfinals before finally getting by Sports City U, 75-71.

Cy-Fair and Kentucky Premier were the other Gold Bracket semfinalists, and the all-tournament team consisted of:
