Check out 5-6 point guard Asha Thomas out of Bishop O'Dowd High School. She has a quick first step, sick handles and can stroke it from behind the arc.  Even better she knows how to make her teammates look good by giving up the rock.  Thomas, who is on our 2015 Full Court Fresh 50 watchlist, was part of the Dragons state championship team that defeated Windward for the Califorinia Open Division title. This summer you can catch Thomas on the AAU circuit for Ca Ballaz.

Young stars show out in California

Two rising stars in California are Sabrina Ionescu and Brijanee Moore.  Sabrina, a 5-10 freshman for Miramonte High School, has an automatic stroke and a knows how to get to the basket.  Sabrina will suit up for the Cal Stars this AAU season.  Sophomore Bri Moore balled out for St. Mary's Stockton this year and helped the team get to the state semifinal where they lost to Bishop O'Dowd. Tyler Scaife, ranked No. 6 in the 2013 Full Court Fresh 50, is scoring PG that can definitely GO! Her court vision is incredible, her shot is on point, has serious mixteam type handles, and plays at a different level then everyone else. She was named a McDonald's and a WBCA All-American. Be sure to catch her next season at Rutgers.

Kelsey is an extremely hard working and ridiculous PG that can shoot the lights out. Her drive, focus, and IQ separates her from the rest. She could miss 100 shots or make a 100 shots and it still wouldn't phase her, a truly humble player.

Check out McDonald's All American and Stanford bound Erica McCall do work! She gets several major blocks a game, gets buckets, and rebounds. She always plays the same throughout the entire game which is intense, her motor never stops running. Definitely a player that will do well at the next level for the Cardinal.

Kelli Hayes a forward out of Archbishop Mitty, is ranked 18th in the 2014 Full Court Fresh 50. We think she's a nice shooting guard/forward with a lot of hustle. Hayes is an intense player that will take it coast-to-coast, pull up for the jumper, and pick up some steals on defense. You can catch her this AAU season for the San Jose Cagers.

Ariel Atkins class of 2014 out of Duncanville High in Texas is all hustle and athleticism. She's an all around player with real nice game who is a beast on both ends of the floor. Brooke McCarty, ranked No. 22 in the 2014 Full Court Fresh 50, out of Clear Springs High, is a high intensity energized point guard.  She can score, drop dimes, hit the three, and can lead a team.
