Notre Dame showed this week just how unsettled the ratings are this year. Not so long ago, everyone agreed on the top five and the only question was who among them would be given a two seed instead of a one seed come NCAA tournament time. Now, after suffering losses last week to St. John's and Georgetown to go with its defeat earlier this season by UConn, Notre Dame could be looking at a 5 seed in the Big East tournament and another loss to a team other than Connecticut could push the Irish down to a 3 seed or lower in the Big Dance.
Stanford, Nebraska and Tennessee now seem to be headed for the NCAA one seeds and the only question seems to be which one will draw the Huskies in the semifinals. Theoretically, geography controls the bracketing, but the bettor in me says that the selection committee could not resist a potential Geno vs. Pat confrontation in San Antonio.
Here are this weeks Full Court Top 25.
