The top six teams are unchanged from last week, but last week was a tough one for the rest of the Top 25. Connecticut continued its seemingly unstoppable roll toward a national championship reprise; Nebraska remained its impressive undefeated season; and Stanford, too, kept grinding out the "W"s though by somewhat less dominant margins, but the rest of the nation's elite suffered a total of 16 losses, and three teams that were in the Top Ten last week -- Ohio State, Texas A&M and Georgia -- dropped two losses each. That has led to a major shake-up in the balance of the rankings.
