All of the conferences have started play. Teams that ducked competition throughout the non-conference schedule must now prove themselves. Ten of last weeks Top 25 were beaten, and with the balance that exists beyond the Top 10 this could very easily become the rule rather than the exception. Two -- Kansas, a program which has been struggling lately and fell this week to unranked K-State, and Vermont, who took a thrashing at the hands of Nebraska -- fall out of our rankings this week.
