The WNBA Minute: June 4, 2012

The Minnesota Lynx are the only undefeated team in the WNBA finishing the week with a perfect 7-0 record and maintain first place in the Western Conference standings.  In the East, both Connecticut and Indiana fell this week spoiling their perfect records.  The Fever lead the Eastern Conference despite having the same 4-1 record as the Sun and Sky. 

Atlanta Dream waive Paris, sign Moore

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Dream announced Monday that the team has signed forward/center Jessica Moore. Moore takes the roster spot of center Courtney Paris, who was waived Sunday.

South Dakota names Amy Williams as women's hoops coach

Vermillion, SD (Sports Network) - The University of South Dakota has named Amy Williams as its new women's basketball coach.

Ogwumike lifts Sparks over Storm

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Nneka Ogwumike made the game-winning bucket Sunday with 2.1 seconds left and the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Seattle Storm for the third time this season, 67-65.
