Baylor's Griner Earns Wooden Award, Completing Clean Sweep of National Player of the Year Honors

Baylor’s Brittney Griner was named winner of the 2012 John R. Wooden Award, presented by Coach John Wooden's daughter, Nan, at the Los Angeles Athletic Club Friday in Los Angeles. Baylor assistant coach Damion McKinney accepted the Award on Griner’s behalf, as Griner had academic obligations.
