Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Courtney Jones scored 18 points, LaSondra Barrett had 15 and LSU upset No. 10 Kentucky, 72-61, in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament on Saturday.

Maryland rips Wake Forest in ACC semis

Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Alyssa Thomas had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds as No. 6 Maryland defeated Wake Forest, 73-58, in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament.

Baylor tops Iowa State, finishes regular season 31-0

Waco, TX (Sports Network) - Brittany Griner scored a career-high 41 points and top-ranked Baylor completed its first undefeated regular season in school history with a 77-53 victory over Iowa State.

ACC Tournament, day three: Order is restored

After a crazy quarterfinals that saw the top two seeds knocked out of the tournament, things got back to normal during a fairly dull semifinal round in the ACC women's tournament.  Higher seeds Georgia Tech and Maryland won their games without too much trouble, setting up a third meeting for these teams.  Can the Terps pull off a three game sweep?

Tamika Catchings hangs with Hip Hop artist Common and NBA Star Dwight Howard

(Orlando, FL) Tamika Catchings was the lone WNBA star reppin' in the Celebrity All-Star game as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.  Catch scored the first basket of the game and followup up by scoring in double digits!  We caught her on the court having fun with Hip Hop Star Common, NBA All-Star Dwight Howard and comedian Kevin Hart.

SEC Tournament day 2: Pat Summitt speech sparks Stricklen for 16 second half points

A good old fashion tongue lashing from Pat Summitt is exactly what Shekinna Stricklen needed to spark the Lady Vols to a win over in state rival Vanderbilt during the second round of the SEC tournament. 

Stricklen was plagued with fouls for most of the game and had only scored two points, but after some “motivation” from Coach Summitt, Stricklen rattled off 16 points in the final 10 minutes of the game to give the Lady Vols the 68-57 edge over the Commodores.

Connecticut gains while standing still

The team that had the best day in the Big East tournament at the Hartford XL Center in Connecticut Friday was third-seeded UConn, which has yet to play until Sunday’s quarterfinals.

ACC Tournament, Day Two: Up Is The New Down

In the most thrilling and unexpected set of quarterfinals games in ACC tournament memory, the top two seeds lost in the quarterfinals for the first time ever.  This was also the first time the No. 1 seed has ever lost to a seed ranked 8 or lower.

It will also be the first time that both Duke and North Carolina have missed the conference semifinals since 1991.  And It will be the first appearance by Wake Forest in the semifinals since 1988.  The day had thrilling finishes, bizarre calls, inspired comebacks and fairly strong attendance.

Maryland cruises into semis over Virginia

Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Alyssa Thomas scored 18 points and pulled down five rebounds as No. 6 Maryland cruised to a 70-58 victory over Virginia in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum on Friday.
