Penn State routs Ohio State, earns at least share of Big Ten title

University Park, PA (Sports Network) - Nikki Greene finished with 25 points and 15 rebounds as No. 11 Penn State earned at least a share of the Big Ten title with an 84-66 dismantling of eighth-ranked Ohio State.

"I'm just really happy" said Head Coach Coquese Washington who took over the reins at Penn State five years ago. "All of these kids came here with the promise that we'd be in this position, but they had nothing to go on as a first time head coach. For them to have that kind of faith and to come here and have that experience it really means a lot."

Diggins powers Notre Dame to win over Louisville

Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - Skylar Diggins scored a game-high 21 points to lift No. 3 Notre Dame to a 68-52 win over 16th-ranked Louisville.

There are ten teams in the Big 12 conference, but you might not know it this season, as the Baylor Lady Bears are the subject of pretty close to one-hundred percent of the chatter.

And fair enough: in their win against Texas Tech on Saturday, the team clinched a share in the conference championship and moved to 27-0 (14-0 Big 12). Baylor isn’t just winning—the team, led by junior center Brittney Griner, is routing opponents, winning by an average of 29 points per contest.

Even the best things in life have their flaws.  The best tasting food comes with a waistline penalty, overseas travel is incredible but the dollar takes a hit against the euro and the best CD’s have at least one song we can do without.  Generally speaking you have to weigh the positives against the negatives in any situation and decide if the return is worth your investment.  The same goes for club basketball and participation in NCAA certified non-scholastic events.
