McDonald's Girls' High School All-American Teams Announced

The McDonald's All American Games unveiled the 24 top high school seniors named to the official rosters for the 11th Annual McDonald's All American Girls Game, on Thursday.

The McDonald's All-American Games for both boys and girls will be played on March 28 at Chicago's United Center. The Girls' Game tips off at 6:30 p.m. CT, March 28, followed by the Boys' Game, scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. CT. Both games will broadcast live on ESPNU.

First USBWA Women's National Player of the Year Midseason Watch List announced

ST. LOUIS – The U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced the selection of 20 outstanding players to the organization's first Midseason Watch List for the USBWA Women's National Player of the Year. Members of the association's board of directors chose the players to be included on the list as contenders for the trophy, which will be presented to the National Player of the Year at the USBWA's Women's College Basketball Awards Breakfast, held in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Women's National Championship tournament in Denver, Colo. on April 3.
