College Park, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Lexie Brown scored 21 points, leading

Black Knights, 90-52, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament's Louisville
Regional at the Comcast Center.

Alyssa Thomas registered a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 14 rebounds for the fourth-seeded Terps (25-6), followed by Katie Rutan and Tierney Pfirman with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The 13th-seeded Black Knights (25-8) were paced by Kelsey Minato who tallied a game-high 27 points, shooting 6-of-10 behind the 3-point line. Jen Hazlett accounted for nine points, but shot only 4-of-15 from the field, including 1- of-10 beyond the arc.

Army converted just seven field goals in the first half and shot 37.3 percent from the floor for the game. The Knights ended up with almost as many turnovers (18) as field goals (19), not to mention being crushed on the glass by Maryland, 47-22, in the first-ever meeting between the programs.
