points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists as No. 1 Connecticut
took an 81-53 win over South Florida.
Bria Hartley netted 26 points and dished out six helpers for the Huskies (21-0, 8-0 AAC), who have won 27 games dating back to last season. Moriah Jefferson added 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the hosts.
Courtney Williams had 23 points for the Bulls (10-9, 5-3), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
The game was tight early on and there were several lead changes, but Stewart hit consecutive 3s to start a 16-3 run and help the team take a 45-27 lead into the break.
South Florida was able to keep the game from getting too out of hand in the second half, but was never able to get closer than 17 back as the Huskies cruised to the finish.
