No. 5 Louisville tops SMU

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Tia Gibbs scored 20 points off the bench to
lead fifth-ranked Louisville to an 81-66 win over Southern Methodist on
Sunday.

Antonita Slaughter netted 17 points, Shoni Schimmel added 12 and Asia Taylor scored 11 points for Louisville (18-1, 6-0 AAC), which has won 11 straight since its only loss of the season to Kentucky on Dec. 1.

Sara Hammond had 10 points and 12 rebounds and Bria Smith contributed nine assists, eight rebounds and seven points for the visitors.

Keena Mays scored 20, grabbed six boards and had five helpers for the Mustangs (11-7, 2-5), who have lost three straight. Korina Baker and Kiara Perry added 14 and 12
