rebounds as No. 6 Maryland defeated Syracuse 77-62 on Thursday night.
Brionna Jones added a career-high 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Terrapins (15-1, 3-0 ACC), who have won 13 in a row.
Brianna Butler netted 14 points to lead Syracuse (12-5, 1-3), which has dropped four of its last five tilts.
The Orange trailed by as many as 19 in the first half, but cut the deficit to 48-38 with 14:41 left before Maryland answered with a 13-3 run to put the game away.
Jones had eight points during the swing, which she capped with a layup for a 61-41 advantage a little before the midway point of the second half. Maryland cruised to the easy win the rest of the way.
Maryland led 42-28 at the break.
