past the 16th-seeded Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 72-56, in the first round of the
NCAA Tournament at Maples Pavilion.

Ogwumike shot 13-of-18 from the field for Stanford (32-2), which extended its win streak to 18 games and will now face off against Michigan in the second round. Amber Orrange added 14 points in the triumph.

For Tulsa (17-17), Taleya Mayberry netted 18 points, Kelsee Grovey had 12 points and Tiffani Couisnard hauled in a game-high nine rebounds.
