Stanford dominates Washington State in Pac-12 QFs

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Chiney Ogwumike totaled 23 points, 21 rebounds,
four assists and four blocks, as fourth-ranked Stanford blew past Washington
State, 79-60, in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament.

The Cardinal (29-2) also received 17 points from Sara James and 10 from Joslyn Tinkle. Stanford will play either No. 18 Colorado or Washington in the semifinals Saturday.

Ogwumike became the first player in Pac-12 tourney history to have a 20-point, 20-rebound game. Stanford, trying for its seventh straight Pac-12 Tournament crown, won its 15th in a row and moved to 55-0 all-time against Washington State.

Lia Galdeira had 16 points for the Cougars (11-20), who shot 34.7 percent from the field.

Stanford scored 13 of the game's first 17 points and held a 35-23 halftime lead. The double-digit margin remained for the entire second half.
